Re: Group C News
I was going to title it 'Group C AKA "Group of Death" haha
Yeh it will be very interesting to see who makes it through this group. I think Italy and France but if netherlands can make it through then it would be a massive surprise let along Romania.
Btw the way...Welcome to the site

Roberto Donadoni may still be dotting the I's and crossing the T's on his squad list but already Luca Toni is plotting a path to glory at UEFA EURO 2008™.
Trophy goal
The FC Bayern München striker looks certain to be named in the Italy coach's provisional party for the Austria/Switzerland finals when it is announced on Tuesday. So he can focus on the task facing the Azzurri, beginning in Group C against the Netherlands, Romania and France. "We will go there to win another trophy," Toni said of the FIFA World Cup holders' target. "Our group is really tough but we'll do our best to show our quality."
Competition for places
Toni's move to Bayern from ACF Fiorentina last summer has enhanced his national-team prospects. The 30-year-old not only scored 24 Bundesliga goals in 31 games for Germany's domestic double winners; he also finished as the UEFA Cup's ten-goal joint top scorer alongside Pavel Pogrebnyak. Other players, however, are less sure of their places at the summer tournament. "Picking this squad is difficult for Donadoni because there are so many good players in Italy," Toni continued. "It will be hard to pick some while leaving others out. But we will have a really competitive squad and that can only help our performances."
Selection dilemma
Juventus stalwart Alessandro Del Piero is expected to feature among Italy's attacking options, which may also include Filippo Inzaghi, Antonio Cassano and Tommaso Rocchi. AC Milan team-mates Daniele Bonera and Massimo Oddo could be vying for one defensive slot together with AS Roma's Marco Cassetti. All will be revealed on Tuesday.
