I have to say Fifa rips PES this season. Konami focused too much on the graphics and look of the game and didn't seem to care about the game play. I think I will be getting Fifa next season and will end up borrowing PES seeing if it's worth a buy.

i'm still on a ps2 so it's definately pro evo > fifa always. but i'm told it's not that way on next gen

yeah, i own FIFA 08 and i defintly love this game far more than the last FIFA games created. I play online alot on my 360, and i really like the fact that FIFA's online network automatically updates all the players and clubs ratings and skills. For example, i use Atletico alot, and i noticed when i first got the game the Simao was rated 83..a couple of days later i went to play with Atletico again and Simao was at 86.. another couple of days later Simao was at 84. etc etc
Also, FIFA's online network posts the latest news of the real futebol world which is awesome! I found out Maniche officially signed with Inter while i was sittin on my couch playing around on the Main Menu(where u choose a player and can just take shots on the gk)

As far as PES 08 goes, im truely pissed and have been pissed for awhile now...it hasnt been released in Canada yet, meanwhile PES 08 has been out all around the world since like november.. like wtf is that about man
I actually think it came out this month.
im still dying to play it because PES has always made really addictive games! PorkchopPryde was actually the one who introduced me to the game.




UEFA EuroCup 2008 is comin out soon, i might get that

Yeh that lil news thing is awesome. When I rented it, it was telling me the La Liga results and the Ligue 1 results. Just quality.

I used to think Pro Evo was alot better than Fifa, but I think this season Fifa has passed it. Especially with the new Euro game... I really like how it plays.

Tell me about it. Euro 2008 is an immense game, the whole game play for it is just so much better. I just hope Fifa adopt it next year, like choosing the power on the pass, that was a very important aspect of the game in my opinion.

Canne wait for next year's Fifa. Apparently the Be a Pro is gnna be a 4 year contract with a particular team. That should be awesome.

Can't wait for 09 either...

Even tho its really frustrating sometimes, I like how the ball slows down and gets stuck in the rain in the Euro game. Never seen that in a video game before.

Ye that is actually quality. I just wish you had the choice to use the analog, cos as much as I try, I just can't get used to it.

Yeah the d pad is soo much better than the stupid analogue.

I've never used the D pad before in a football game, so it doesnt bother me. Haha.
