Don't know what to expect from that guy.
He did a good job first at Valencia but then went downhill with him being fired and replaced with Koeman.

welcome Flores! Smile Smile
lol i wasnt even expectin him at all, the media was sayin that he chose to work for Fiorentina

I wouldnt mind if we signed Caneira...especially since we dont have J.Ribeiro like we all thought we did thumbs down stupid media. Im not too sure on what i think about Carlos Martins possibly join us...but i do know that he wants en exit from Spain and wants to come back to Portugal, so that could happen.

I think im just having a brain-fart hear because Gouffran sounds familiar...so this might be a stupid question ..who is he? Meh what club and position does he play?

...I think i know a Gouffran that plays in the French League. he is a young French striker ...is that the one im thinkin of that we signed?

He can be used as a Striker or a Right Winger. He plays for Caen in the French League at the moment. I beleive they finished 10th in the French League this season.

He wears the No.17 for Caen and the No.7 for the French U21's. He was wanted by Arsenal last year and reports were saying he had signed and everything, just as they did with Di Maria, but as we all know we stole him....Hopefully we still this kid aswell.

Dream:

Di Maria-------------------Rodriguez
----------Gouffran---------------------
-------------------Cardozo------------

There is so much pace in that front 3, then give it to Cardozo for him to rip the net open. Very Happy

I'm well happy, Laudrap and Quique were both manager's that I liked and hopefully Quique can bring a new life into this team. I read yesterday that Quique had already put 4 player's he wanted to sign.

.....Villa.....Silva.....Manny Fernandes.....Marchena/Albiol (if Luisao leaves) whistle

Haha MF will never come but the others maybe just MAYBE we could get 1 but no way we would get them all lol Laughing

Yeh i agree. The last successful manager for Valencia was Quique, for this reason player's like Villa, Silva, Marchena and Albiol would look at Benfica in a different way. I think Marchena would be most likely.

I read on Ojogo that Quique was interested in Albelda. He would be a great signing, even though he is already a little old but he would be a good signing. Knowing Ojogo they probably made another load of s**t up as per usual.

You think Rodriguez will stay? I doubt it, also dont forget we have Coentrao and Adu and Di Maria has no right foot we need someone who can cross with the right.

Yeh thats what i was thinkin. I don't mind if ROdriguez don't stay but it would be better if he did. We have great young talent in our team.

Gouffran can plaay Right Wing so he would be the right footed winger we need. Then we would need to find a striker.

So is this Gouffran guy an actual possibility and also I guess we could do this

Gouffran ----------- Di Maria/Coentrao
----------Adu
-------------Cardozo

Good I guess this is the type of things that happen when we get a coach that comes in with some demands before accepting to a club that is what we needed plus a sporting director who is ambishes and wants Benfica to actually win (Rui Costa Obrigado) Carlos Martins would be a good #10 so if we did something like this Very Happy

Gouffran------C.Martins----DiMaria/Coentrao
-----------Adu
--------------Cardozo

Well now that to me seems pretty sweet though imo I really want us to use more porkchops the front with Adu and Cardozo seems perfect to me and on the bench having Montorras as a sub for Adu and Gomes/Makakula a sub for Cardozo I think is the way we should play those cards then DiMaria and Coentrao fighting for that Left spot though imo I would rather see Coentrao become our main dude cause hes a chop Very Happy And Martins being the playmaker I think he is under rated and he just had a bad spell with sporting bento and him didnt get a long but hopefully if he is happy on Benfica then he will turn on the juice. What i understood is Martins is kind of a sensitive person if you tell him he isnt good he wont perform he is the type of guy you got to encourage dunno if thats true or not though.

I agree but I'm not too fussed about how many chops we have on our team, unless it gets ridiculously low. It would be great for our team to have big competition in our team, for example, Di Maria and Coentrao. That would make the player's much better and work harder knwoing there is someone to step in if your under performing.
